rugged and reliable portable welding machines in the industry. |

Gunnar
Ennerfelt pioneered the power toroidal transformer in the early
seventies. He moved to the United States from Sweden in 1982 and
started Toroid Corporation, manufacturing the first commercially
viable toroidal transformers in the United States. Toroid is today
the leading toroidal transformer company in the US and employs
60+ persons in a 20,000 square ft. plant, with subsidiaries in
Costa Rica, Brazil and the Czech Republic. Toroid manufactures
all magnetic components for The Workhorse, ARCON
Welding LLCs first product. |

Maggie Porter joined ARCON in 2000 as Sales Manager.
Maggie
has a 25 year background in public relations and sales. Born and
educated in England, Maggie's dedication and commitment to ARCON
customers, combined with her love of selling, makes her a welcome
addition to the ARCON family. |

Edna
Adrion joined ARCON in July 2005, and brings years of experience
as a Production Manager, Quality Manager and in Customer Service.
Since joining the management team, she has improved throughput,
shipping operations and increased production efficiency. |

Michael
Bell has been working in ARCON since 2001. He started in product
testing and has been in engineering since 2005. Michael, together
with Ming Xu and Gunnar Ennerfelt, is responsible for all engineering
aspects of the company. |

Ming
Xu who has a B.Sc from the University of Maryland has been responsible
for engineering in our sister company Toroid Corporation for over
20 years. In 2007 he moved part time to ARCON to support us in
development of products and processes. |

Goran
Hedberg, who together with Gunnar Ennerfelt founded ARCON Welding
Equipment in 1999, now lives in Sweden where he is working as
a consultant focusing on technical issues and sourcing of components
for the ARCON line of Welding Power Supplies. Goran was the co-inventor
of the inverter based welding power supply in the late 70s and
designed the welder that became known in the United States as
Powcon. Based on this know-how he designed the Workhorse series
of welders for ARCON Welding Equipment |
